BOOKS NOTES

These are really just notes for myself, but I am sharing them here if they are useful for you. You may use them as pre-read material before deciding to invest your time reading the whole book, but they absolutely shall not be treated as the summary of the books—they barely are. I recommend that you read the entire book to grasp the essence of the content.

This list will keep growing as I read more. You may bookmark this page to check back after some time if you wish to read more notes.

To all authors whose book notes are listed here, I thank you for the hard work and beautiful mind producing these wonderful books. If you are upset by having your books' content posted as notes here, please let me know, I respect that, and will take the content down immediately.

CONTAGIOUS

Interesting read on the pivotal elements to product virality.

THINKING, FAST AND SLOW

Interesting read on how people's unconscious perception can easily be manipulated through names, attractiveness, location, and repetitiveness

MAN'S SEARCH FOR MEANING

If you complain about or are dissatisfied with your life, read this book.

EGO IS THE ENEMY

Ego, and the constant need to seek validation, are indeed the enemy of relationship, goal, family, love, and even wealth. Worst of all, it forbids progress and self-development.

THE DIP

The most compact book I’ve read so far. It has the highest ratio of information per sentence. Find your dip, and quit your Cul-de-Sac.

WHAT GOT YOU HERE WON'T GET YOU THERE

Excellent advice for employees of any ranks, especially management. I make sure that I re-read the 20 flaws every yearly to remind myself not to ever (accidentally) commit these flaws to my dear co-workers
